Our Journey through life has been very revealing. My First Job, other than lawns etc., at 15 yrs old was working in a hospital exposing me to things most healthcare workers never see. My dad was one of the first fifty EMT’s trained in the USA, also a Pathology Tech (Autopsies), and CSR Director in the same hospital. He brought his work home and it was dinner conversation for years. His attention to detail and ability to explain his exposure to medicine peeked my interest in healthcare.
After High School I worked a couple years as an orderly in the Hospital and then entered a pre-med program in college and carried a 4.0 GPA. Later I was Power of Attorney for Seven family Members. For all of them I did the talking and a lot of research and travel, filtering through the side-effects and making decisions for them by discussing their situation with doctors.
My lovely wife Ruth was exposed to as a pre-born to a hormone that was given to her mom when she carried Ruth in the womb. DES – diethylstilbesterol, a synthetic experimental hormone. DES turned out to be very disastrous, causing multiple malformations of genitalia in both boys and girls, and latter multiple cases of vaginal CA and cardio vascular issues. Years latter after spending so much time with doctor, none of which were able to help, we found a book; Confessions of a Medical Heretic – Dr Robert Mendelsohn, he writes 100% of those exposed to this drug suffered consequences.
Ruth was told that because of the DES damage to her genitalia it was not possible for her to get pregnant. Thankfully they were wrong as we have a son. But our first pregnancy were twins who only lived a couple hours due to deformation proven to be caused by the DES.
This Nutrition took us from unable to work and bedridden to not only getting our lives back, but going from thousands of dollars a month in medical bills to zero doctor visits.
